Good Catch plant-based seafood has launched a new product line of frozen entrees and appetizers: New England Style Plant-Based
Crab Cakes, Thai Style Plant-Based Fish Cakes, and Classic Style Plant-Based Fish Burgers. This product extension is the second evolution from the plant-based seafood brand, expanding beyond its existing portfolio of plant-based tuna, which quickly won over the consumer palate following its market introduction last year.
As people are firing up barbecues across Europe this summer, Nestlé has improved its Garden Gourmet plant-based burger to give it an even meatier taste and texture. It is now so incredibly juicy and incredibly delicious that it really deserves a name that does it justice: Garden Gourmet Sensational Burger. The new burger is appearing in stores (and on grills) across Europe now. Aside from its even more meat-like flavor and texture, the burger now also cooks better, making that transformation from raw to cooked with a satisfying sizzle.

Nutpods, the industry leading coffee creamer company has recently introduced a new refrigerated product line: zero sugar oat creamer. These two refrigerated flavors, Original and Cinnamon Swirl, follow a successful online-only launch of shelf-stable oat Original and French Vanilla and are part of a rapidly increasing number of oat-based alternative dairy products. Nutpods’ chilled oat lineup will launch in the coming months at the three largest natural retailers: Sprouts, Whole Foods, and Fresh Thyme.
Path of Life, known for their plant-based, frozen quinoa, rice, and veggie blends, has welcomed Blake Zimmerman to the Live Simple family as the Director of Brand Sales. In this position, Zimmerman will be responsible for developing and advancing Path of Life’s retail presence across the county. He will lead sales strategies for existing products in addition to developing launch strategies for new brand innovations.
Redefine Meat has unveiled the world’s first Alt-Steak plant-based products, with market testing at select high-end restaurants to start later this year. Created using Redefine Meat’s patent-pending 3D meat printing technology, the company’s Alt-Steak products have the texture, flavor and appearance of beef steak and can be produced in the volume and cost to enable large-scale market launch.
Alpha Foods has made their plant-based Chik’n Nuggets accessible worldwide through a new partnership with KFC in Hong Kong. As part of KFC’s “New Era” plant-based series (which also includes Gardein's New Era chicken burger) the popular Alpha Nuggets are now available to carnivores and flexitarians alike at select locations across Hong Kong.
Pioneering plant-based brand Follow Your Heart has changed the dairy-free cheese market with the introduction of its Dairy-Free Feta Crumbles Cheese Alternative, the first-to-market crumbled feta cheese alternative to hit retail shelves on June 30. Coconut oil-based, this product is allergen-free, non-GMO and vegan. It is also free of dairy, soy, casein, gluten, lactose and preservatives.
