Chicken and prepared meats giant Tyson Foods Inc., Springdale, Ark., announced several personnel appointments.
Interim President & CEO Leland Tollett named 18-year company veteran Archie Schaffer as executive vice president, corporate affairs. Tyson also named Sara Lilygren as senior vice president of external relations; Chuck Penry as vice president of federal governmental relations; Todd Menotti as senior director of federal governmental relations; and Nora Venegas as director of federal governmental relations.
Cheese and snack products processor Sargento Foods Inc., Plymouth, Wis., announced several personnel moves within the company's consumer products division.
Jim Besiada was promoted to national customer business manager and will manage Sargento's military business. Steven Harrison joined Sargento as national account sales manager (Kroger). Rob Krause joined Sargento as marketing manager, core business. Nicole Pauly joined Sargento as associate marketing manager-refrigerated and non-refrigerated snacks.
