Birds Eye hires Park in marketing role

Frozen vegetable giant Birds Eye Foods, Rochester, N.Y., said it hired Matthew Park as chief marketing officer. Park previously was vice president of brand marketing for a $1 billion division at Del Monte Foods. He also has held senior posts at Mattel, General Mills and J.P. Morgan.
"Matt is an accomplished and strategic marketing leader with an extensive background in developing strong brand equity and successful product innovation," said Chris Puma, Birds Eye president and COO. "We could not be more pleased to have someone of his caliber and experience join our management team."
