Aunt Jemima looks for "Morning Moments"

October 6, 2009

Kids might not feel so photogenic first thing in the morning. But that's okay. As long as they're hungry, they have a chance of winning a family vacation from Pinnacle Foods, Mountain Lakes, N.J.

New from Pinnacle's Aunt Jemima frozen pancake brand is a "Morning Moments" campaign, which  encourages parents to photograph their child or children enjoying breakfast -- for a chance to win a family vacation or other prizes.

"Today's reality makes it difficult for families to sit down, especially during the week, for a warm breakfast," says Eric Hintz, vice president of marketing at Pinnacle. "Aunt Jemima frozen breakfasts offer an easy solution to hectic mornings with a full variety of homemade-tasting breakfasts that can be prepared in minutes. We want this contest to highlight the importance of giving your children a warm breakfast even when you are on the run."

To enter the contest, consumers simply photograph a breakfast moment with their child/children and submit a picture along with a description in 100 words or less, about how they share a delicious, warm moment in the morning. Pinnacle says one grand prize winner will receive a warm getaway for a family of four. Ten finalists will each receive digital cameras to continue capturing their family's moments.
