Kraft eyes Atlanta for new DC

The Atlanta Business Chronicle (ABC) said Kraft Foods Inc., Northfield, Ill., is looking at sites on Atlanta's south side for a new multi-temp warehouse and distribution center, worth as much as $50 million, according to estimates. The Chronicle noted that Kraft already has a distribution center in nearby Norcross, Ga., but is looking at the city's south side because of its relationship with an undisclosed area baking company.
