Citing the loss of a major foodservice frozen dough customer, Sara Lee Corp., Downers Grove, Ill., said it plans to close a Greenville, S.C., bakery that produces frozen dough and bagels.
Sara Lee declined to name the customer and a spokesperson told media that the company had not yet set a date for the plant closing. Greenville reportedly employs about 200 workers.
