Execs come, go at Schwan's
July 29, 2010
Diversified foods giant The Schwan Food Company, Marshall, Minn., said it hired Jim Clough as president of Schwan's Food Service, effective August 9.
Clough previously was president of Fresh Start Bakeries North America. He succeeds Mark Jansen, who left to become president and CEO at Blue Diamond Growers, a Sacramento, Calif-based almond cooperative.
A veteran of Heinz North America, ConAgra and Bunge Foods, Clough will now lead the Schwan subsidiary that supplies frozen pizza, ethnic specialties and other products to public and private schools, universities, healthcare facilities, convenience stores and chain restaurants.
In other news, the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal reported the departure of Scott McNair, president of Schwan’s largest division, Schwan’s Home Service Inc. A company spokesman told the Business Journal that McNair left to pursue other interests.
