Distributor expands multi-temp warehouse

Performance Food Group, Richmond, Va., said it will add 35,000 square feet to its 80,000-square-foot multi-temp foodservice distribution center  in Springfield, Mo. Officials say PERFORMANCE Foodservice Roma supplies more than 1,500 customers throughout a nine-state area. Customers include pizzerias, Italian and Mexican restaurants, as well as regional chains. PFG says the expanded site will add as many as 40 new jobs -- over the next five years -- to an existing 100-person workforce.
