Vertical form/fill/seal packaging equipment manufacturer HayssenSandiacre Inc., Duncan, S.C., said it purchased Simionato Integrated Packaging Systems S.r.l., a supplier of integrated flexible packaging systems in Mestrino, Italy.
Commercial cooking and cooling equipment supplier Lyco Manufacturing, Columbus, Wis., said it hired
Jon Cleveland as marketing manager. Lyco said Cleveland previously worked with ABB Automation and brings experience with acquisitions, international business development, as well as product
management and process automation techniques.
Separately, Lyco said it opened a food product development laboratory in Columbus to assist customers with product recipe development and machinery trials.
Key Technology, Walla Walla, Wash., said it hired Louis Vintro as senior vice president of business development and global operations. Key designs and manufactures process automation systems, integrated electro-optical inspection and sorting systems and processing systems. Key said Vintro has more than 18 years of business development and operational leadership experience. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager for ESI Inc.'s semiconductor division.
