Haagen-Dazs Five Ingredient Ice Creams

Today consumers want their foods natural, simple and made wtih recognizable ingredients. Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream Inc., Oakland,  Calif., has taken notice and developed Haagen-Dazs Five, a new line of all-natural ice creams each made from just five ingredients. Each offering includes milk, cream, sugar, eggs and one of seven single-note flavors. Flavor varieties include Brown Sugar, Coffee, Ginger, Milk Chocolate, Mint, Passion Fruit and Vanilla Bean. Dreyer’s says the products also contain one-third less fat than its regular offerings. Haagen-Dazs Five is available nationwide at a suggested retail of $4.39 per carton.
