Stainless-Steel Shaft Accessories for Washdown Applications

Boston Gear, Charlotte, N.C., added new mounted bearing designs and universal joints to its line of stainless-steel shaft accessories designed for superior performance in high-pressure food processing and packaging washdown applications.

This bearing line now includes setscrew locking 3-bolt flange brackets and wide slot take up units available in a range of bore sizes. All models feature cast 304 stainless-steel housings, 440C stainless-steel inserts and NSF H1 food-grade grease. Synthetic lip seals with a stainless-steel flinger provide superior protection.
