Mars invests in American manufacturing, supply chain management

Mars, McLean, Va., announced plans to invest $900 million in its U.S. supply chain in 2017, creating many new American jobs. This is an additional investment to the $1 billion Mars has already invested in American manufacturing, creating 1,000 new jobs over the last five years.

“We truly believe in the value of keeping our operations in America; it’s good for our people, it’s good for our business and it’s good for the long-time fans of our products,” says Tracey Massey, president, Mars Chocolate North America. “We’re looking forward to what these investments bring in 2017 and beyond.”
