Renewable ice cream container

Evergreen Packaging, Memphis, Tenn., introduced Sentinel renewable ice cream board, what is said to be the first of its kind ice cream board that uses renewable resources.

The new ice cream board uses sugarcane-based polyethylene supplied by Braskem USA, Philadelphia, Pa., combined with renewable paperboard to create a fully renewable board option for ice cream packaging.
