Lanco Dairy Farms acquires former Saputo cheese plant to expand cheesemaking operations

Lanco Dairy Farms, Hagerstown, Md., expanded its presence in Maryland by establishing a cheesemaking operation in Baltimore, Md., where it plans to add 15 new jobs over the next two years.

The company invested more than $24 million to acquire and refurbish the former Saputo cheese facility.
