Chobani introduces better-for-you sour cream alternative

Chobani, New Berlin, N.Y., introduced Chobani Savor, a condiment or alternative to sour cream that boasts Greek yogurt.

Ideal for use as a topping for baked potatoes, tacos, soups and more, Chobani Savor can also be added to sauces, dressings and marinades or to garnish vegetables, pancakes or crepes. 

Chobani Savor is said to deliver 50% fewer calories, 75% less fat and twice the protein than the equivalent amount of sour cream, and it’s made with only natural, non-GMO ingredients and fresh milk from cows not treated with rBST. 

Chobani Savor comes in a 14-ounce squeezable, easy-to-use resealable pouch for a suggested retail price of $2.99.
