R2 Logistics opens specialized solutions office

R2 Logistics, Inc., Dallas, Texas, opened a specialized solutions office in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Rob Bade was hired to manage the specialized solutions office, and Brad Kilpatrick will oversee strategic operations and pricing.

“We are excited to open a new R2 branch and bring Rob and Brad to the team,” says John Pavlick, vice president. “As we get the office fully immersed into our network, we will ramp up hiring in Chattanooga to help support Rob and Brad. In the short time since we opened the office, we’ve already seen increased pricing requests from both current customers as well as new opportunity. We are incredibly excited about the direction our specialized solutions business is heading.”

R2 Logistics’ specialized solutions pertains to traditional flatbed moves as well as over dimensional, heavy haul and anything else considered to be outside the box.

“We’ve already handled special project work that a short time ago was not in our wheelhouse,” adds Pavlick. “With the Chattanooga team’s guidance, we’ve been able to offer capacity and competitive pricing on shipments that many brokers shy away from.”
