Jeff Saval, president of Deli Brands of America, Baltimore, Md., was named co-chairman of the newly consolidated organization that combines North American Meat Processors Association and National Meat Association. Saval, along withLarry Vadof Ideal Meat & Provision, will integrate their efforts in representing and educating more than 700 meat purveyors and processors across North America.

André Nogueirawas named the company's new CEO in Australia, after serving the last four and a half years as CFO of JBS in the United States. JBS also created two new operating units for Australia (North and South).Brent Eastwood, a 20-year employee of JBS, will lead Australia's northern unit, which includes plants in Queensland and New South Wales, whileSam McConnell, a long-time executive with JBS, will be COO of the south unit, which covers Victoria, King Island, South Australia and Tasmania. Meanwhile,Denilson Molina, a mathematician who joined the company in 2011 after 18 years with Banco do Brasil, will serve as CFO at JBS USA, Greeley, Colo.

Chad Heddenis the new director of sales for the Lumirror polyester film division, which conducts the research, development and manufacture of a wide range of value-added polyester films for packaging and industrial end users. Since 2009, Hedden has served as national sales manager for the Torayfan polypropylene division, responsible for developing PET sales in the packaging sector. Previously, Hedden was a manager in Toray’s Strategic Alliance Group. He joined Toray in 2006 as a product manager in the Torayfan division after working at Tredegar Film Products.

Ross Industries, Inc., Midland, Va.
David Favretwas appointed worldwide product manager for the company’s line of Ross tray sealers. In this position, Favret will represent the entire range of tray seal packaging machines, including the new Ross IN50 inline tray sealer. He will also help Ross bring their new small and mid-size inline tray sealers to market. Favret brings many years of packaging equipment expertise, from operations, sales and marketing to development, planning and technical support.
