Oil-absorbent pads and rolls from Kafko International, Skokie, Ill., are designed to soak up oil while repelling water and other liquids.

The pads are said to absorb up to 20% more than melt-blown polypropylene pads.

Made from natural plant byproducts, they come in light, medium and heavy weights, and range in size from 16x18-inch pads to 28x150-foot rolls.
