Seattle'sSeafreeze / City Ice, a leading cold storage provider on the Port of Seattle, said it hiredBonnie Geiseas vice president of business development. Officials said Geise has more than 20 years of cold chain experience and formerly worked at SCS Refrigerated Services.

Seafreeze said Geise will manage the firm’s core fisheries market and support the company's business expansion. She reports to Seafreeze / City Ice President Kim Suelzle. Part of Bay Grove Capital, Seafreeze / City Ice operates two cold storage facilities on the Port of Seattle. Both facilities serve the import, export, fisheries and domestic cold storage markets.


MTC Logistics, Baltimore, Md., said it hiredDawn Speakmanas director of customer service. Officials said Speakman has 13 years of experience customer service management experience. Her role will be to develop, implement and monitor standardized processes in customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies, said MTC

Ken Johnson, vice president of operations, added, “Dawn is a perfect fit within our organization.
