TheGrocery Manufacturers Association, Washington, D.C., said it hiredPam Baileyas the organization's new president and CEO, effective Jan. 1. Bailey, president and CEO of the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC), assumes the GMA post from interim President C. Manly Molpus.
Prior to joining PCPC, Bailey was president and CEO of the Advanced Medical Technology Association. She also has extensive public sector experience, having served in the Reagan White House as head of the Office of Communications Planning. She also has served as assistant secretary of public affairs at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and as an advisor to Presidents Ford and Nixon.
