In related news, the Erie County (N.Y.) Industrial Development Agency granted $77,000 in sales tax breaks to Allied in advance of the Rich's job. Officials said the money will help pay for new fork lifts, computers, scanners, security systems and other equipment. Atlas Cold Storage formerly had the Rich's account but has decided to close its West Seneca operation, the newspaper reported. . . . Supermarket retailerStater Bros Markets, San Bernardino, Calif., opened a new perishables distribution center in San Bernardino. The 860,,000-square-foot facility includes multi-temp storage areas (-20F to +55F) and a humidity-controlled produce room. It will service 90 percent of the company's area stores, officials said. . . .
