Orval Kent acquires Fresh Creative Foods
Orval Kent Food Co., Wheeling, Ill., said it purchased Fresh Creative Foods LLC, a San Diego processor and distributor of ready-to-eat refrigerated gourmet entrees and side dishes. RSM EquiCo Capital Markets LLC, Costa Mesa, Calif., reportedly initiated the deal and advised Fresh Creative. Terms were not disclosed. Officials said Fresh Creative specializes in chicken-based products with a line that includes salads, dips, spreads and entrees.
