Reis to succeed Warhover at Gorton's
Gorton's Inc., Gloucester, Mass., said President and CEO Steve Warhover will retire effective April 1st, ending 23 years at the helm of this frozen seafood company. Nineteen-year company veteran Judson Reis, vice president of marketing since 2004, will succeed Warhover as president and CEO.
Warhover joined Gorton's in 1986 after 18 years as a marketer and general manager at General Mills Inc., which was Gorton's parent at the time. Gorton's said Warhover will continue to contribute to Gorton's -- as well as sister companies King & Prince Seafood and FW Bryce -- as a member of each company's board of directors. Gorton's is a division of Nippon Suisan Kaisha, Ltd., Tokyo.
