United States Cold Storage Inc., Voorhees, N.J., has selectedStellarto build a 202,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in Turlock, Calif., in that state's San Joaquin Valley. Stellar, Jacksonville, Fla., said it expects to complete the facility this July. Officials say the operation will feature more than 22,000 pallet positions, 5.6 million cubic feet of frozen and refrigerated storage space and 26 dock doors. The site also will feature a CO2/NH3 refrigeration system to generate temperatures between 35F and -5F.
