Stellar, Jacksonville, Fla., said it completed a four-story U.S. "Customer Innovation Campus" in Solon, Ohio, forNestle Professional, the foodservice arm of Nestle S.A., Vevey, Switzerland. The 67,000-sq.-ft. building features an "ideation room" for concept development, culinary operations kitchens, product development kitchens and an area to develop and test processing models.
"We've designed and built many facilities for Nestle throughout the years," noted Brian Kappele, Stellar divisional vice president. "We're proud to partner with such a world-class food company. Especially on this unique project, it was exciting to work with Nestle and help them translate their vision into a reality."
Kappele said the building design "maintains a high degree of openess and transparency throughout the building, creating a welcoming atmosphere and fostering interaction between the culinologists and their customers."
