Really Cool moves HQ to Indiana
Refrigerated & Frozen Foods' "Ones to Watch" honoree Really Cool Foods, officially opened its new $24 million production facility and distribution center in Cambridge City, Ind.
The retail refrigerated foods processor said it moved its corporate headquarters from New York City to Cambridge City, effective immediately. The relocation involves as many as 50 corporate jobs.
Really Cool Foods' 78,200-square-foot plant initially will employ about 250 workers with build-out plans for as many as 1,000 people in the future, officials said.
Speaking at the company's opening ceremonies, Co-President Beth McDonald noted, "This new facility and its strategic location in the Midwest will allow Really Cool Foods to reach new market channels and introduce new categories of prepared foods to consumers looking for healthy, cost-effective choices for themselves and their families."
