Execs on the move at Unilever, GMA, Multivac
EXECS ON THE MOVE
Unilever plc, London, said Vindi Banga, president, Global Foods, Home and Personal Care has decided to leave Unilever at the end of May after a Unilever career of 33 years. Succeeding Banga is Michael B. Polk, who currently is president, Americas. Replacing Polk, in turn, will be Dave Lewis, currently executive vice president of Unilever, UK & Ireland.
Grocery Manufacturers of America, Washington, D.C., said it hired Todd Turner as vice president of GMA's industry affairs department, responsible for sales, supply chain and technology practices. Turner reports to Stephen Sibert, senior vice president of industry affairs. Turner previously was vice president of membership and urban affairs at the Food Marketing Institute.
Food packaging equipment supplier Multivac Inc., Kansas City, Mo., said 33-year company veteran Norm Winkel, director of key accounts, will retire effective May 15. Assuming Winkel's title and responsibilities will be 22-year packaging industry veteran Matt Malott, officials said. Malott, currently serves as a key account manager. He will report to Jan Erik Kuhlmann, Multivac president and CEO.
