The Amarillo (Texas) Globe-news reported that Hilmar Cheese Co., Hilmar, Calif., plans by this fall to expand its Dalhart, Texas, plant. A project estimated at $100 million will include more milk storage and production lines and should help the facility double annual capacity, which is currently about 500,000 pounds, officials said.
