Eric Lawser, CAE,has joined the Refrigerated Foods Association (RFA) as executive director.
The Atlanta-based organization represents processors of wet salads, refrigerated entrees and side dishes, dips, desserts, soups, and ethnic foods, as well as related vendors to those companies.
A University of Georgia graduate, Lawser earned his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation while working for the Wood Component Manufacturers Association during the past six years. WCMA represents 150 manufacturers of dimension and wood component products for the cabinet, furniture, moulding and millwork, flooring, building products and related decorative wood products industries.
RFA said Lawser will help guide the association's goals and objectives, manage day-to-day operations, develop member services, plan conferences and symposiums and promote the RFA and refrigerated foods industry.
