Bake’n Joy Foods Inc., North Andover, Mass., said it acquiredBoston Coffee Cake, a mail-order baker of fresh specialty cakes and desserts also located in North Andover. Terms were not disclosed.
Bake'n Joy said it has been supplying mixes to Boston Coffee Cake since founder Mark Forman started Boston Coffee Cake in 1992. Officials said Boston Coffee Cake will move its manufacturing to Bake'n Joy's headquarters, which features new space dedicated to produce the line.

Bake’n Joy’s product line includes mixes and bases;
frozen batters in pails for muffins and cakes; a FreshBakes line of
predeposited muffins in three sizes; a PanFree line of predeposited
batters for muffins, loaf cakes, cupcakes; and single-serve dessert
cakes.
