RLS Logistics, Malaga, N.J., hiredJohn Pluciennikas vice president of business development. Pluciennik will assist RLS' current business and be responsible for regional growth initiatives outside the Northeast. RLS Logistics provides integrated services involving public refrigerated and frozen warehousing, transportation and distribution. It operates three public refrigerated warehouses in Malaga and Vineland, N.J., as well as Pittston, Pa.
Industrial Info Resources, Sugar Land, Texas, reported thatAssociated Wholesale Grocers, Kansas City, Kan., is scouting locations for a food distribution center in Gulf Coast region. AWG's newest member store locations are in Russellville, Ark., Magee, Miss., and Smyrna, Ga., according to the company's website.
Material handling equipment supplierTGW, Spring Lake, Mich., said it hiredTom Swovick as systems sales manager for the food and beverage vertical market. Officials said Swovick previously held similar positions with Retrotech Inc., Dematic and Alliance Automation and has more than 30 years’ experience in material handling automation.
