Just in time for Super Bowl parties, Fresherized Foods is expanding beyond its line of preservative-free, high pressure processed (HPP) guacamole. Officials say new Wholly Salsas use only fresh tomatoes and that the HPP treatment retains the dips’ natural nutrients and keeps them free from chemicals and preservatives. The salsa comes in three levels - Hot, Medium and Mild - and has a shelf-life of 45 days. Beginning in February, peel-and-serve 12-ounce trays of Wholly Salsa will be available nationwide in supermarket refrigerated deli and produce sections.
