Green Giant Fresh Patio Grillers

Just in time for summertime grilling, produce marketer The Sholl Group II, Minneapolis, has introduced a complete “grill kit” line with fresh produce, chef-inspired sauces and a recyclable no-mess grill tray.

Developed under license from brand owner General Mills Inc., new Green Giant Fresh Patio Grillers come in five varieties: Fire Roasted Salsa (vegetables with chili lime seasoned oil), California Blend (vegetables with chive butter sauce), BBQ Blend (vegetables with garlic herb sauce), Green Bean & Carrot Blend (with chive butter sauce) and Baby Red Potatoes (with rosemary herb sauce).

Officials say all varieties go from grill to table in 20 to 25 minutes with no-hassle preparation. Consumers simply empty the bag of vegetables and sauce into the tray and place it on the grill. After grilling, consumers can recycle the tray.

The line is available nationwide in supermarket produce sections. Offerings range in size from 22.5 ounces to 30 ounces depending on variety. Suggested retail price also varies from $5.99 to $6.49.
