Deland, Fla.-based Kingspan Insulated Panels North America unveiled a new and graphically enhanced, user-friendly website.
The revamped site, www.kingspanpanels.us, includes imagery, tools and “Quick Links” to the most-used web pages as well as homepage shortcuts to useful tools and apps. The new site also features the company's blog, IMPrint, as well as links to company news and technical and sales support teams.
“Architects and other construction leaders rely heavily on our specification documents and resource library,” says Andrea Peters, marketing director. “We’ve brought that valuable content to the homepage, so our customers and specifiers can find what they need in one or two clicks.”
In addition, the new site features splash pages and promotional banners, along with a slideshow of images, offering a quick view into Kingspan’s recent building projects and new product offerings.
Boosting recognition of student design
The new website also promotes Kingspan’s “Generation Kingspan” Student Architectural Design Competition. Also known as Gen K, this competition rewards students for creating energy-efficient, sustainable building concepts using Kingspan’s highly insulating, resilient panel systems.
The competition boasts a dedicated site at www.kingspanpanels.us/GenerationKingspan, with details and submission forms for participating students. The program is open to all college-level architecture students who submit innovative, original building design concepts based on the use of Kingspan insulated metal panels, or IMPs.
“In keeping with Kingspan’s NetZero philosophy, we’re inviting students to design with sustainability and energy efficiency in mind,” says Peters. “We have invited a top-notch jury of leading practitioners, academics and professionals, but we’ll also open the voting to our entire online audience.”
