Germanow-Simon Corp. celebrated the recent completion of a $3.25 million upgrade to the company’s facilities located at its headquarters at 408 St. Paul Street in Rochester, N.Y. Upgrades included doubling space for injection molding and quality assurance operations, improving functionality and cleanliness, becoming more energy efficient and creating an overall environment more appropriate for high-tech component and product manufacturing.
“The biggest advantage to continuing to use our existing site and remaining in Rochester is keeping a team of people in place who work together every day to satisfy the quality and service expectations of our customers,” says Andy Germanow, president. “Because there are people in Rochester with the right skills and temperament for the kind of manufacturing work we specialize in, this business has been able to prosper for 95 years.”
