The E TranSlicer Cutter, manufactured by Urschel Laboratories, Inc., Valparaiso, Ind., was named Best in Food Processing Equipment at the Asian Manufacturing Urschel slicerAwards in Singapore. The award recognizes Urschel for providing technology solutions and value-added services to food processors in Asia. Chris Tan, regional operations manager of Urschel Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., accepted the award on behalf of the company.

Engineered to produce continuous precision slices with extensive detail given to key elements throughout the machine, the E TranSlicer Cutter joins the production-proven TranSlicer series in the Urschel lineup. The E TranSlicer is designed for both small and larger processors, and can easily fit into existing production lines. The cutter slices various vegetables, fruits, cooked meats and bread products. It also offers maximum versatility by taking up minimum floor space, processing a wide range of cut sizes/products, requires only routine maintenance and is known for simple, continuous operation.
