Igloo Cold Storage, Canada, opens a new storage facility exclusively for the fresh produce and frozen foods sector. This 30,000-square-foot warehouse acts as a main receiving, storage and distribution hub with state-of-the-art equipment, including large temperature-controlled cooler rooms and 650,000 cubic feet of refrigerated space, temperature-controlled shipping, receiving docks and production areas.
“At the moment, we are providing third-party cold and freezer storage, also offering cross-docking, repacking and other on-site logistics,” says Frank Sarraino. “We have six rooms capable of storing produce at various temperatures.”
