Here’s an ice cream consumers can actually feel good eating.
Dubbed “Halo Top” with golden lids to match, the new ice cream, produced by Los Angeles-based Halo Top Creamery, is not only low-calorie, it’s also the right kind of low-calorie—protein-rich, low in sugar and made with only all-natural ingredients.
Made with top-shelf ingredients like organic Madagascar vanilla, organic strawberries, cage-free eggs and hormone-free dairy, Halo Top ice cream offers 70 calories per serving (80 calories for chocolate) and uses organic stevia over artificial sweeteners.
“Maybe I’m just a natural glutton, but I’ve never been able to eat a bite or two of ice cream and put it away. Who can?” says Justin Woolverton, founder. “But, giving up ice cream was never going to happen, so I thought it’d be fun to make one you could feel good about eating.”
The new ice cream lines comes in Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Lemon Cake and Strawberry flavors, and boasts a suggested retail price of $5.49 per pint.
