Attention parents with picky eaters, here’s a way to get your kids to eat their veggies.
New York-based KIDFRESH launched Super Duper Chicken Nuggets, what is said to be the only chicken nuggets with hidden vegetables inside. They contain 11 grams per serving of whole grains (the highest amount compared with the leading chicken nuggets brand), 40% less sodium than the leading chicken nugget brand, 73% less fat than the leading chicken nugget brand, are 100% all-natural and antibiotic-free and are made from humanely raised chicken, whole grain breading and puréed vegetables (cauliflower and onions).
"When I tasted the first finished product, I was simply blown away," says Matt Cohen, founder and CEO. "Slightly crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside—a fantastic taste with all of the nutritional benefits. I am very proud of this product because chicken nuggets remain an all-time kid's favorite and we've been able to take them to the next level."
They are quick and easy to cook in a conventional oven or microwave. They come in a 6.7-ounce carton with two and a half servings, a suggested retail price of $3.99 and are available in the freezer case of leading retailers nationwide.
