Retrotech, Victor, N.Y., expands its footprint in automation solutions by building a large technical facility in Henrietta, N.Y. The material handling company has outgrown its existing facility in Fishers, N.Y. The $5.5 million dollar construction project begins in early 2014 and will grow its staff size by nearly 30%.
“This regional expansion sets the stage for an exciting new chapter for Retrotech customers and employees,” says Paul Deveikis, chief executive officer. “We are keenly focused on delivering the high-quality systems, support and experience that our customers have come to expect from us over the years, and our recent business growth inspired us to take our capabilities to the next level. The larger location allows us to further expand our highly skilled workforce and accommodate the increasing needs of our customers. We take pride in helping our customers achieve more and hope that we can help raise the bar in automation solutions and performance.”
The new facility is larger than Retrotech’s existing Fishers facility and allows the firm to further its capabilities in engineering, software, testing and service. Retrotech also plans to add new regional office and plant locations in the near future.
