Italy-based Datalogic opened a new office in Istanbul, Turkey, which further expands its direct presence within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region and local customer and market needs.
The Turkish office will be fully equipped and ready to provide its customers with sales, technical and administrative support. Istanbul is also considered to be the epicenter for business and is the ideal place for the new subsidiary, which officially opened April 1. Datalogic is aiming to grow even further within the Turkish market and move closer to its customers within the country.
“Turkey is a very promising marketplace for Datalogic’s offerings,” says Valentina Volta, chief executive officer of Datalogic business development division and Europe and emerging sales vice president. “Due to our wide variety and high-quality offerings, we see a lot of opportunities in the retail, manufacturing, transportation and logistics and healthcare sectors. The opening of a new office in Istanbul will allow us to be closer to our customers and better satisfy their growing needs. We have great expectations in terms of overall growth within this region, and are very excited to have established a local presence in what can be defined a bridge between Europe and Asia.”
