Iowa Cold Storage, LLC (ICS) announced plans to expand its Altoona, Iowa, public refrigerated warehouse. The 1.1 million-cubic-foot expansion, slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2014, will expand the facility’s footprint to 7.4 million cubic feet.

“We are enthusiastic at the prospect of providing Central Iowa with the necessary capacity to meet the Des Moines metro areas growing demand,” says Gary Jones, managing director. “This addition completes our 5-year master plan providing us with the space necessary to support our customers’ storage and distribution requirements for the forseeable future.”
