Motion Controls Robotics, Inc. (MCRI) announced plans to expand its Fremont, Ohio, headquarters and manufacturing facility. 
MCRI is a FANUC authorized integrator of robotic systems to the food and beverage, plastics, building and construction materials, converting, manufacturing and board and sheet goods industries. To keep up with customer demand, MCRI is adding a 4,000-square-foot addition, making room for new employees and allowing the robotics manufacturer to continue developing and servicing robotic systems.
The expansion will include extra office space, a new machining center, a cleanroom robot service and refurbishment area and an additional conference room for customer and employee meetings.
“The primary goal for the expansion project and for the additional hiring we are doing is to ensure continuous improvement in on-time delivery performance and product quality for our customers,” says Scott Lang, president.
The expansion will be complete in March 2015 in time for MCRI to celebrate its 20th anniversary in the robotics industry.
