Spee-Dee Packaging Machinery, Sturtevant, Wis., launched RevCalc App, a new app available for iPhone users via iTunes that figures out proper tooling requirements to achieve targeted fill rates.

Ideal for anyone that works with auger fillers, users simply input the product density and target weight of the product being filled, and the RevCalc App recommends the proper tooling size for that specific application. This is especially useful when working with applications that call for filling new or different products. Additionally, the app allows users to fine tune the recommendation by making adjustments to various inputs, including auger size, RMP and acceleration.
