Former Equipment, Kenosha, Wis., introduced the SRT-2600 servo-rapid throughput electric forming machine that is said to prove that “less really is more.”

With over 70% less moving parts, maintenance and downtime, the electrical servo system has no parts to wear out and replace and can use existing 26-inch tooling.

Additional features include:

• Uses absolutely no hydraulic oil, making for a more hygienic process.

• All frames on the machine feature tubular welding; not flat frames that can crack over time.

• A 1,200-pound hopper increases production for forming patties, nuggets, fish and more.

• The vacuum box is sequestered.
