Advantech, Irvine, Calif., announced its PCE-4 series employing PICMG 1.3 half-size form factor and support for Intel work station-grade CPUs. The PCE-4128 is equipped with 4th-gen Intel C226 with ECC memory support, offering an ideal solution for high-performance industrial applications.
PCE-4128 fulfills the needs of applications requiring compact size, high performance and flexible expandability such as machine vision and automation, DSP compact systems, high-end CNCs, video walls, machine vision and edge servers for factories and transportation.
PCE-4128 is highly compatible and integrates well with a variety of Advantech compact size systems as well as mainstream, 4U, short-depth rack-mount systems. Plus, this CPU is said to provide on average 5-15% better computing power and deliver a 30% increase in graphics and media performance.
What’s more, PCE-4128 carries an m-SATA socket, which is suitable for high-end CNC or motion controller, delivering high-performance even in a high-vibration environment.
