METAL DETECTOR REDUCES FALSE REJECTS
Mettler-Toledo’s Profile Advantage metal detector delivers unrivalled levels of detection sensitivity to maximize detection and ensure end-user’s brand protection. Multi-simultaneous frequency technology achieves the highest levels of detection sensitivities by analyzing product signal data captured across a wide spectrum of frequencies. This is processed by the company’s 3S software algorithm in real time, which is said to result in a 30-50% higher sensitivity. In addition, Product Signal Suppression virtually eliminates the incidence of false triggers by suppressing the active and unwanted product signals often produced during inspection of high-moisture products. Profile Advantage metal detectors also incorporate advanced Condition Monitoring technology, which assesses the performance and operation of key detector components and circuitry.

DUAL-ENERGY X-RAY FOR OVERLAPPING PRODUCT INSPECTION
Heat and Control’s new Ishida IX-G2 x-ray inspection system uses a unique dual-energy process that compares absorption of x-rays on two levels and improves detection of low-density pieces of metal, glass, plastic and other foreign objects in overlapped products. The IX-G2 also includes functions for weight verification and detection of missing items, incomplete filling, product defects, incorrect alignment or products trapped in package seals.

QUALITY CONTROL PROGRAM TO MITIGATE RISKS
Anritsu’s Detection360 analyzes and helps advance quality control programs by identifying and securing all points of detection to reduce processors’ risks. The new Detection360 proprietary process secures all points of detection within the processing environment while reducing risks associated with unwanted contaminants or missing items. First, Anritsu’s technical sales team learns and understands the vision of your current and future quality control program, mutually identifying needs and reviewing quality concerns to define all inspection opportunities and production line details. Inspection technology is then “mapped” throughout the processing and packaging lines to correctly and effectively apply advanced technology. Anritsu integrates the AISIS mapped solutions to advance your company’s current quality control program. Lastly, Anritsu offers basic and advanced training, preventative service programs, operational equipment reviews and quality management programs to assure operation.
