Cincinnati-based AdvancePierre Foods added two breakfast sandwiches to its BIG AZ line.

The 2X Sausage & Cheese Biscuit features two sausage patties and two slices of cheese, while the Breakfast Stacker is piled high with sausage, bacon, egg and cheese.

Each sandwich is loaded with savory flavors served on a homestyle, fresh-made buttermilk biscuit. The hand-assembled sandwiches are individually labeled and wrapped in crisp, white butcher paper for fresh-made appeal.

“Our consumers crave hearty, convenient breakfast items at appealing price points, and our new BIG AZ sandwiches deliver both,” says Tony Schroder, president of convenience channels. “These big, bold sandwiches grab attention and make sales.”

The sandwiches boast a 14-day refrigerated, 9-month frozen shelf life, and can be sold hot from a sandwich warmer or microwaved on demand from a cold case.
