CitraPac Inc., Lake Hamilton, Fla., is set to open a 42,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at the Sebring Regional Airport in Sebring, Fla.

CitraPac will spend $5 million to construct the production warehouse and create 80-100 construction jobs to start, and spend an additional $2.5 million in processing and packaging equipment, along with 65 full-time jobs for the area in the first year. The new CitraPac manufacturing facility, located in Sebring Commerce Park, will eventually employ up to 240 people in the next five years.

CitraPac is a specialty manufacturer of frozen fruit snacks called Fruit Pearls. CitraPac uses real oranges and tangerines and flash freezes them into “tiny pearls” and mixes them with beads of fruit purees, fruit juices and yogurts.
