European-based Südpack Verpackungen GmbH & Co. KG acquired Bahpol sp. z.o.o., a Poland-based packaging firm, to increase its packaging finishing capacity and further expand its service portfolio for international customers. Bahpol will be operating under the new name SÜDPACK Kłobuck (SPK).

"We are very pleased with the new addition to our corporate group, and would like to extend a warm welcome to our new Südpack colleagues at Bahpol," says Johannes Remmele, Südpack Group managing partner. "Our goal for the years ahead is to continue to grow internationally. The new site and new team members in Poland represent another significant step toward achieving this goal."

Over the last 20 years, Bahpol sp. z.o.o. has been manufacturing high-quality packaging finishing and flexographic printing.

"The new site has all the necessary certificates for packaging finishing along with a modern machinery park to ensure maximum production and product quality,” adds Remmele. “This not only expands our Südpack portfolio, [but] it also offers Bahpol a number of opportunities to benefit from the Südpack network. We are already looking forward to working together on our first joint projects."
